ABOUT ME

I’m a British artist currently based in San Francisco. I create mixed media papercut artworks and prints, as well as large installation pieces, workshops and experiences for commercial clients and events.

I’m at my best working in collaboration and nothing lights me up more than surprising and delighting people with an art experience I’ve helped to create.

I’ve delivered creative experiences and projects for a range of clients including Notion, The Ferry Building and Altitude Summit.

My art.

My papercut collages & painting explore themes of faded nostalgia. I have always been drawn to seaside towns, old signage, dated buildings and interiors, and the people, history and stories connected to those spaces.

Minimal yet detailed, my artwork reflects the fragile beauty and disappearing memories from the British seaside, American road trips, cafes, holiday resorts and amusement parks.

You’ll often find me out running with a camera, doing my best to capture the joy of old diners, corner shops and motel signs on my routes.

My Dreamland is a dip in the ocean in a vintage swimsuit, a stroll along the boardwalk with a Mr Whippy, watching people on amusement rides in all their faded glory, fish and chips, a bag of taffy, and maybe a lukewarm canned Margarita.

The heart behind my work is dreaming at sunset by the sea.

BACKGROUND.

I have a BA in Illustration from UWE, Bristol, and an MA in Graphic Design from The London College of Communication at UAL London.

In a former life, I worked in marketing at Penguin Random House U.K., leading campaigns for authors including Lee Child, Sophie Kinsella and for Paula Hawkins' The Girl on The Train.

Moving to New York in 2016 gave me courage to return to my own creative roots and begin building my own professional art practice.

I opened my studio in San Francisco in 2024.
